Who am I : 

Hi I am Gaylen Windvogel. I am 29 Years old and from Cape Town!💃 


Why do I want to be a foundation phase teacher:

 
I am currently a Qualified Grade R teacher at Tygersig Primary for the past 8 Years.
Teaching has always been in my family. My dad has been in the education field for about 30 Years. He is now officially retired. I  can say I am following in his foot steps.👀 I admired how he made a impact in peoples life and up on today still old learners will tell stories about him and how he helped them. I chose to become a teacher because I believe I can make a difference in a Childs life, as a Grade R teacher its special when you see how a child makes it to Grade 7 its the fact that I was part of the Childs school career and to see how they flourish into this beautiful flower because when they started they were this seed where u needed to give them water, nurture them to become this beautiful flower and that's why I am into teaching to see how they achieve their goals.

How I feel about LSKM :
I am a bit overwhelmed. Why? because its making me do things I do not usually do like I mean creating a blog 😁😁😂😂😅😅😅😅 so lets see how it goes! 


EXPECTATIONS :

To give me inside how I can implement music into my lesson planning. And also to have a suitable music activity that is age appropriate for Foundation Phase.

 Hi! What a week has it been Work just got crazy end of term stress. Its assessment, reports this is probably the worse part of teaching getting everything done in such a short period of time but I push through. looking forward to at least 1 week of holiday whooooooopi. PART : 1   How am I feeling? what a question lately hey!!😢😢 I was tested positive for COVID 19, boy can I tell you about it, it is hell!! Covid  had so much effect on  myself and my family. My mom, dad and sister also was positive it is tough cause both my parents is in remission so while I had to recover I had to look after them too.  My BF lost his granny and all this happen in the 10 days of our isolation, our whole lives changed in blerrie 10 days no warning!!!💣💣💣😕😔 I have so much feelings its undescribed able😞😞😞 My heart is heavy!! This week we came out isolation, so it means I am back at work, I did not expect flowers nor a banner on welcoming me back but I did not expect to be treated like I had AIDS, what I can really say people can be so fake 😳😳😳😳 !!!   Hallo almal!! Laaste eenheid van LSKM Wel, ek doen dit 'n bietjie aners. In my eie taal AFRIKAANS ek dink my engels is nou op loklHoeganit dit met almal?? dit gaan goed met my dankie.Kan julle glo toe begind blog het ek herstel van covid 19 en nou wat ons amper klaar is voel dat ek weer dit gekry is dit net nie malgeit nie lokl. Ek probeer ma rustig dit vat.
